IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT PLACE TO RELAX, VEG OUT, GET SOME SUN, SWIM, EAT AND WATCH THE SUNSET WITH A RUM DRINK IN HAND, THIS IS IT! THE STAFF IS SO HELPFUL IN FULFILLING ANY NEED THAT YOU COULD WANT. THE CURRENCY IS THE DOLLAR, MY VERIZON SERVICE WORKED GREAT, AND THE OCEAN IS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS. YOU WILL WANT FOR NOTHING. TAKE THEM UP ON THE PRESHOPPING LIST AS THE GROCERY STORE OFFERINGS ARE A LITTLE SHORT COMPARED TO TORTOLA. THE WHOLESALE OUTLET IS GREAT FOR LIQUOR AND CHEAP WINE ALSO. RENT THE TOP VILLA FOR THE BEST AND MOST PRIVATE VIEWS!

What an incredible experience my husband and I had in June 2007 when we stayed at Nail Bay Resort. It was a last minute change of plans for our vacation that year and we were so very pleased with our decision. Kasha was extremely patient and willing to answer all our questions and make sure details including taxi pickup from the airport and a car rental were readily available, even with flight changes. We stayed in Drake’s Hideout, the studio apartment on the first floor and it was just perfect for the two of us. There was a family staying in the apartment above us but we hardly saw them at all that whole week. It was an exquisite view of the beach and ocean, with our own private pool. The beach was practically all ours that whole week, with only a few other people throughout the day. Snorkeling was SO fun and cheap through Nail Bay, lots of beautiful and unique ocean life. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were so accomodating. What’s so great too is that Virgin Gorda is a small island so we really got a chance to see a lot of it without feeling overwhelmed. And what a great option to have your own cooking facility, including a grill, and be able to buy your own food from the local markets. I can’t wait to go back!!! John David and Lauren Bowlby

The Loreleis had the great fortune to have a concert in the Sugar Mill Ruins of Nail Bay in March of 2008. We are a 16-member a cappella group from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the managing director invited us to perform at the Ruins while on tour in the British Virgin Islands.
What can we say? It was beautiful! We entered Nail Bay Resort from the water and the beach was absolute perfection. After performing for a wonderful audience of staff and guests, we were invited to dine at the new Sugar Mill House. Very cool! The architecture was fantastic, and I cannot picture a more romantic locale than that rooftop pool.
One of our very own was enchanted with Nail Bay enough to move there permanently and take a position at Nail Bay Resort. We are all eagerly looking forward to our next trip (and maybe performance!) at Nail Bay. Thank you again for a wonderful opportunity!

I took my husband and children to Nail Bay as a surprise to my husband for his 50th Birthday. We all loved it. We went from ages 4 1/2 to 50 years old and we were all able to find something to do. We live in Henderson, NV and it was so refreshing to go somewhere tropical. We had a great time in Leverick Bay and can’t wait to get back down to the BVI.
