Nail Bay in Virgin Gorda is a very special place

October 1st, 2008

My daughter, her best friend and I were very fortunate to have experienced the vacation of a life time when we stayed at Nail Bay this June (2008). My daughter and her friend are young adults (19 and 20 years old) and we three “girls” spent some quality girl time together. The girls stayed at one of the Mystic Water suites where they enjoyed their very own private pool. This was a big hit! The had the most outstanding view of the ocean from basically every location in their villa. The villa is layout so that when you wake up in the morning you start you day with the view of the ocean. You experience that same view when you dine in your kitchen, sit in your living room or lounge by the pool.

I had the privilege of staying at Sundowner. You really have to be there to appreciate the beauty of this villa. It’s decorate is very stylish while being very warm and welcoming. You have your own private pool with a lovely fountain or you can walk just a few yards to the beach and enjoy the sites and sounds that it has to offer. I strongly suggest going to the Nail Bay website and checking out the photo gallery for Sundowner. That will help you appreciate what a lovely place it truly is.

The girls and I spent much of our time just relaxing on the beaches, enjoying the snorkeling and checking out the underwater life. There is no shortage of beaches to explore and we did just that. Nail Bay has three beaches right on their properties, but there are also others close by. There are also some really cute shops in town if you are looking for a little break from the sun.

There is no need to venture out far for food unless you want to. The Sugarcane restaurant at Nail Bay is excellent. The food is delicious and the quality of the service superb.

I hope to return to Nail Bay again someday. It’s too beautiful not to.
